1. Eligibility:
The “Find All the Canada Birds” scavenger hunt (the “Promotion”) is open only to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who are physically present at the Beaumont Night Market hosted by Empowering Women Entrepreneurs ("EWE") on September 27. Employees, officers, and directors of EWE (“Sponsor”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win.
2. Promotion Period:
The Promotion is a one-day event on September 27. The scavenger hunt begins at 3:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM (the "Promotion Period"). All completed BIRD ID cards must be presented to the EWE table by 10:00 PM to be eligible for a ballot.

5. Winner Selection and Odds:
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible ballots received during the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted at the EWE table at approximately 9:30 PM on September 27, or shortly after verification of the final ballot. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designated agent, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Promotion.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible ballots received. It is estimated that 2000 entries will be received.
6. Winner Notification and Verification:
Winners need not be present at the drawing to win. The winners will be announced at the event immediately following the drawing and will also be notified based on the contact information provided on their ballot.
The potential winner will be required to provide proof of eligibility (including age) and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where legal, a Publicity Release (collectively, the “Prize Claim Documents”) within a specified time period.
Failure to comply with these requirements, the return of any notification as undeliverable, or failure to provide the required documents will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected at random.
7. General Conditions:
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion due to unforeseen circumstances, and to disqualify any individual found tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these rules.
8. Limitations of Liability:
The Released Parties (Sponsor, prize providers, and market vendors) are not responsible for: (1) lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete BIRD ID cards or ballots; (2) any inability to complete the scavenger hunt tasks due to market conditions, vendor availability, or other factors beyond their control; or (3) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Promotion.
9. Disputes:
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the province of Alberta.
